The LANIKAI ink collection includes the option of TWO different sets of #tracibautistaCOLOR handmade artisan watermedia inks. 

LANIKAI WAVES ink set #1: {shown above} includes THREE gorgeous ink colors that create a medley of ocean blues and grays 

LANIKAI SUNRISE ink set #2: {shown below} includes FOUR tropical colored inks.

Each ink color is mixed by hand and created in small limited edition batches adorned with hand painted labels.

All the handcrafted inks are mixable with each other along with the watercolors. There is a beauty when you mix the paints and inks together, it produces a beautiful range of colors! 

The inks are highly pigmented staining colors with deep saturation. Some colors are not lightfast like many dye-based inks. They have been tested and hung in a very bright sun-filled studio wall with minimal color change. 

FOUNTAIN & DIP PENS: They can be used for lettering with pointed nib dip pens, calligraphy, and in fountain pens. They have been tested in TWSBI ECO-T, Sailor Fude, Noodlers, and Lamy pens and work best with a flex or stub nib since some of the inks have a beautiful shimmer. 

STENCILS: Using an oval wash brush, paint the inks through a stencil. They are perfect for using as a wash layer over acrylic paint or wax resist. Apply gesso or molding paste through stencils using a palette knife to reveal textures then paint over gesso resist with watercolors. 

#tracibautistaCOLOR inks are made with the mixed media artist in mind, they are perfect for use in art journals and sketchbooks.

ALL of #tracibautstaCOLOR ink + paint collections are sold PRE-ORDER. The paints take up to a month to complete. The colors are made in small batches and poured multiple times. The paints are highly pigmented made with a mixture of earth, organic, inorganic and mica pigments. They are created without any additonal fillers and include a handmade organic binder
