Join us for an immersive day of creativity at INKatelier, where you’ll explore the magic of handcrafted artisanal watermedia inks and walk away with your own unique creations. In this exclusive pop-up event, you’ll have the opportunity to make custom blended inks, experiment with colors, and dive into a world of mixed media techniques.

This is a one-of-a-kind event designed for artists and creators who want to elevate their mixed media creative practice with artisanal tools.

Whether you’re new to mixed media or ink-making or have been working with handmade inks for a while, this experience will guide you through the process of customizing your own palette of artisanal inks.

Each participant will have a 2.5-hour window after their scheduled appointment to create, experiment, and PLAY in the studio.

What's Included...

Custom Ink-Making Session

You’ll create 4 custom ink colors with access to premium pigments and supplies. You have to option to create more for an additional fee.

All Materials Provided

All the tools and supplies you need for your ink-making journey will be available at the event, including specialty pigments, mixing solutions, and unique additives.

PLAY studio: Art Materials Exploration

Experiment with a variety of mixed media materials, including #tracibautistaCOLOR watercolors, PIGMENT BARS, and mark-making tools during your creative playtime.

Custom Ink-Making Session:

You’ll create 4 custom ink colors with access to premium inks, pigments and supplies.

All Materials Provided:

INK making tool kit & paper kit:

You'll receive a limited edition kit including glass bottles with dropper tops, ink mixing tools, mark-making tools, and specialty papers to experiment and PLAY with during the LIVE experience.

Mixed Media PLAY Studio Session:

After your ink-making session, you’ll have 2 hours to experiment with your new inks in your sketchbook or on specialty paper.

Ink & Paint Recipe Cards:

Receive ink recipe cards to document your custom creations and use in future projects.

Interactive Demonstrations:

Learn mixed media techniques for using your handmade inks through interactive demos that include tips on color mixing, chromatography, and ink layering and blending with handcrafted watercolors.

Art Materials Exploration:

Experiment with a variety of mixed media materials, including watercolors, PIGMENT BARS, and mark-making tools during your creative playtime.

Interactive Demos:

Throughout the day, I’ll be hosting demos and showcasing creative ways to use your inks, from swatching, painting botanicals to journaling and beyond.

Ink-Making Appointments:

Scheduled in small groups to allow for personalized attention and space at each ink-making station. Choose your appointment time when you register.

Mixed Media PLAY Studio Time:

After making your inks, stay for up to 2.5 hours to explore mixed media techniques with watercolors, pigment bars, and your custom inks.

Exclusive Bonuses:

Exclusive InkATELIER Technique Cards: A set of printed, illustrated technique cards showing unique ways to use your inks, pigments, and tools. These can serve as creative prompts during and after the workshop.
