Discovering YOU e-course FAQ
How is the e-course delivered? The Discovering YOU e-courses are now self guided and delivered on a private blog and available 24/7 for you to access and
work on at your own pace. All PDF lessons and videos along with informational/inspirational/resource posts are available for once you register and access the classroom.
How do we contact you during the LIVE e-course? I am
usually online everyday answering questions in the morning and late at
night to accommodate the international students. There is a are archived versions of the LIVE stream chat.
Where can I post class assignments? There is a online flickr group & photo galleries where you can share your art.
How long is the e-course content available? The
workshop content is available for UNLIMITED access. You will have
access to the discussions, galleries and can continue to share with the
class.
is it necessary for me to take DISCOVERING YOU part one before I take PART TWO?--->
I would highly recommend it, especially if you are new to building your
creative business because we will not be covering content from part
one. PART TWO is geared towards executing your creative marketing
roadmap from the research and information collected during part one.
But, if you don't take part one and if you have been in business for at
least a year and have a web presence you will benefit from the
DISCOVERING YOU part two.
how much time should I to set aside for class exercises each week?--->The
amount of time you set aside to work on the workbook exercises is
completely up to you. This course is a little different than my art
technique workshops. I encourage you to share your work and interact with the class especially if you’d like specific feedback
about building your personal marketing plan.
Do I have to complete all the creative exercises during the e-course?---> No,
you can work on whatever applies to your business. You will continue to
work, refine and execute your plans long after the course is complete.
There is a lot of information provided. Some you will use now and other
strategies which will come in handy as you build your creative business.
You can participate as much or as little as you want. Building your
business will happen over time. So don't feel like you have to rush
through the material. Complete the exercises that relate to your
business now and save the rest for later.
what can I expect?---> You can expect to be part of a
supportive group and meet wonderful artists from all over the world.

promote YOU and your ART!
what made you create this class which was radically different than all of your others?---> I
have had a lot of people ask about marketing their art and I am always
talking about it to my artist friends. Building a creative business and marketing are two things I am very
passionate about and I think that its important to share my knowledge to
those in this industry. Especially because artists are not typically
known to be savvy business or marketing people. But I don't think that
is the case...with a little knowledge and planning every
artist can be successful if they work hard at the business/marketing
side :) so that's why I created the discovering Y.O.U e-course.
