The Bohemian LOVE Collection began with a simple idea: to evoke the warmth and beauty of love through art.

Each year, I create 2-3 exclusive collections outside of my regular subscription boxes. 

For 2025, I wanted to experiment with something new—

Blending Artistry & Innovation: A Creative Collaboration with AI

This collection was brought to life through a unique collaboration with AI, blending technology with my artistic process. Using my custom AI tool,Ideation PLAYground, I brainstormed themes, created digital mood boards, and refined the color palette. The AI helped spark new ideas, generating layered textures, bohemian motifs, and vibrant hues that inspired the final color palette. 

While the handcrafted pigment bars and watercolors are all made by Traci, AI played a creative role in shaping the vision, making this collection a true fusion of artistry, technology, and innovation.

Here’s a little insight into how the collection palette came together:

Brainstorming and Ideation with AI    

    The journey began with exploring ideas around love, bohemian artistry, wanderlust, and vibrant palettes. Using Ideation PLAYground, I uploaded photos of my art and handcrafted products and crafted detailed prompts to guide the AI. From this creative exchange, the concept of Bohemian LOVE emerged—a romantic fusion of color, texture, and passion.

Creating Digital Mood Boards:

While I usually design mood boards in Procreate or Canva, I wanted to push my creative boundaries by experimenting with AI-generated visuals. Using a combination of AI tools, including my custom developed AI tool Ideation PLAYground, I developed inspiration boards filled with rich textures, romantic florals, and layered bohemian motifs. These visuals helped refine the collection’s aesthetic and color direction, ensuring it captured the free-spirited essence I envisioned.

Finalizing Colors & Names:

With a clear visual direction, I selected and named the final colors. The AI played a helpful, collaborative role by suggesting names and refining palette combinations. The result? A beautifully curated set of multicolor pigment bars and a watercolor mini swatch tile that evoke romance, creativity, and free-spirited expression.

Handcrafted with the mixed media artist in mind, these unique one-of-a kind hand mixed and handcrafted artisan watercolors, inks, drawing sticks and pigment stones are created by Traci Bautista in small limited edition batches.

They are highly pigmented and include a mix of earth & synthetic pigments, mica and binder. Some have different variations of metallic sheen and multiple pigments.

This handmade watermedia collection can be used both wet or dry to create a number of texture, mark making and mixed media techniques.
